“People who exercise are health conscious and trying to be physically fit, but I’m afraid there are too many over-eaters who just don’t care anymore If your family, your friends, and perhaps even your health-care professional are overweight,where is your incentive to be different? Obesity is becoming the new norm.

“How many times have you heard someone say, ‘if you see me running, call the law, because someone will be chasing me?’ That attitude toward sustained exercise likely can be applied in a broad venue. I’ve even heard people brag about how lazy they are in this context. Well, the day may come when you will wish you had made a concerted effort to stay in shape.
