Counseling center to sponsor relationship seminar

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Good Samaritan Counseling is inviting everyone to attend its first-ever sponsored conference to help launch relationships in 2017.
The Real Relationships Conference will be held on Friday, Jan. 20, and Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Colquitt County Arts Center. The conference is designed to teach skills and tools for marriage, relationships and friendships. It is open to everyone, including married couples, single people and anyone desiring to pursue deeper relationships with other people, according to a press release from the counseling center.
The speaker for the conference will be Christian psychologist and author Dr. David E. Clarke from Tampa, Fla. According to his website, www.davidclarkeseminars.com, he has been in full-time private practice in Tampa since 1986, working with individuals, couples, and families in therapy. Through his seminars, he presents God’s truth to discuss emotional well-being, relationship building, and development of parenting skills. He and his wife, Sandy, have been married since 1982. They have four children: Emily, Leeann, Nancy and William.
Clarke is the author of 11 books, including “Parenting Isn’t for Superheroes,” “The Total Marriage Makeover,” “The 6 Steps to Emotional Freedom,” “A Marriage After God’s Own Heart,” “Cinderella Meets the Caveman” and “The Top Ten Most Outrageous Couples of the Bible.” He has also appeared on a number of radio and television shows, including Focus on the Family, Coral Ridge Ministries, American Family Radio, FamilyNet television, Family Life Today, Janet Parshall’s America, and Time for Hope.
