MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce will hold the 107th Annual Chamber of Commerce Meeting and Community Awards Presentation on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Colquitt County Arts Center.

Nicole Gilbert, 2016 Chamber Chairman said, “The Chamber Annual Meeting is a time to celebrate our community and the outstanding individuals whose contributions have made it the greatest place to live and work. We hope everyone will join us to honor our community.”

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Arts Center’s auditorium.

The Chamber will present the following community awards: Man of the Year; Woman of the Year, and Agribusiness Person of the Year. The community awards are selected through nominations submitted by the community to the chamber. A selection committee of former awards recipients will review the nominations and make the final selection.

The 2015 recipients were Jim Matney, Man of the Year, and Shannon Bell, Woman of the Year.

Also, the chamber chairmen and board members for 2017 will be sworn in.

Following the meeting, a reception with heavy hor’s doeuvres will follow in the ballroom. The reception will provide an opportunity to congratulate the award recipients and time to network with fellow chamber members.

The ticket cost is $40 per ticket and are limited to 275 people. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce at 116 First Ave. S.E.
