Colquitt County Probate Judge Wes Lewis swears in Commissioners Chris Hunnicutt and Johnny Hardin at Tuesday night’s county commission meeting.

Hunnicutt served the last several weeks of the term of the late Commissioner Winfred Giddens and is now starting his own four-year term. Hardin was re-elected without opposition.

Also taking office Tuesday was former sheriff Al Whittington, who replaces Donna Herndon. Whittington was sworn in during an earlier event.
