4 shot, 2 dead in Tifton

TIFTON, Ga. — Two people were found dead Saturday, apparently from gunshot wounds, at a Tifton home, according to information released by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Sylvester Regional Office.
At approximately 6 p.m. Saturday, Tift County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a 911 call at a residence on Briarwood Court, according to the release.
Deputies found the deceased bodies of Dennie Reeves, 66, and Ginger Reeves, 64, inside the home, the release states.
Both had injuries consistent with gunshot wounds, the release states.
Suzanne Williams, 35 and her sister Kristen Wiggins, 23, were found alive and suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the release.
Williams and Wiggins were taken to a Macon area hospital, the release states.
The bodies of Dennie Reeves and Ginger Reeves will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab for autopsies, according to the release.
Both the GBI and the Tift County Sheriff’s Office are continuing their investigation of the incident, the release states.
