More than 100 veterans of the Vietnam War were honored in February at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Moultrie.

MOULTRIE, Ga. — More than 100 veterans of the Vietnam War were honored in February at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Moultrie. The commemoration, sponsored by both the State of Georgia and the U.S. Department of Defense, recognizes the 50th anniversary of the war.

The American Legion’s Moultrie post held a similar event later in the year, and more are expected in 2017.
