Man accused of grabbing stepdaughter during argument with her mother

MOULTRIE, Ga. — A Colquitt County resident arrested on Wednesday on domestic violence charges is accused of grasping the wrist of his stepdaughter, who reported stepping into the fray to help her mother.
Jessica Saurez told police that the male relative grabbed her by the wrist and forced her into a doorway.
That contact occurred when she tried to separate her mother from Jose Jesus Guiterez, who was arguing with her mother at the time.
Police arrested Guiterez, 25, at the couple’s 1041 Jonah Tillman Road residence and charged him with simple battery.
In other arrests:
• Christopher Damar Walker, 26, 899 Rossman Dairy Road, was charted Wednesday with theft by taking and three counts probation violation.
• Phyllis Ruth Hamner, 69, 124 Trailer Park Road Lot 4, was charged Monday with criminal trespass.

• Ellis Lee Williams, 47, 219 Third St. S.W., was charged Wednesday with simple battery, cruelty to children and interference with 911 call.
• Enan Rarrand McKelvary, 47, 1208 13th Ave. S.E., was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence and noise violation.
• Kentrez Deshaun Gardner, 26, 1330 Hwy. 319 N. Lot 17, was charged Dec. 21 with theft by shoplifting.
• Kelly Jo Diane Shealy, 27, 517 26th Ave. S.E. Apt. G2, was charged Dec. 22 with theft by taking.

• Shana Hart, 3500 block Sardis Church Road, reported Wednesday the theft of a John Deere Gator valued at $3,500.
• Kayla Davidson, 100 block Randall Salter Road, Norman Park, reported Wednesday the theft of a green Honda four-wheeler and a gas-powered chain saw with a total value of $900.
• Family Dollar, 2795 West Blvd., reported Tuesday that a man wearing a gray hoodie concealed merchandise in the hoodie and ran out of the store when confronted by an employee.
The employee did not know the value of the stolen merchandise.
• Mark Stephenson, 100 block Stephens Lane, reported Tuesday the theft of a five-gallon Pepsi keg valued at $90.
Stephenson told police that the keg was in a packaged delivered to a neighbor’s porch, from where it was stolen.

• Stephanie Cowart, 800 block Tillman Road, reported Tuesday the theft of a Ryobi 18-volt bluetooth radio/speaker and black iPhone 7 Plus with a total value of $690.
Cowart also reported that additional belongings had been stolen and she would provide a list later.
