MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Colquitt County High School Jazz Ensemble performed some holiday classics for the Moultrie Rotary Club Dec. 6, creating a festive mood and setting the tone for the holiday season.

The 18-member group was described by Director Liz Savage as one of the premier performing bands at the high school. The ensemble is comprised of students in grades 10 through 12. Savage made special mention of the unusually high number of 10th graders in the group this year and several of their selections highlighted the saxophone section which is made up of all first year performers with the jazz ensemble.
