Crowd attends Sweets N the Streets, parade

JASPER, Fla. — The Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce presented the fifth annual Sweets N the Streets Festival on Saturday, Dec. 10 in downtown Jasper.
The festival was from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There was handcrafted gifts and food vendors.
During the festival, the Hamilton County Sheriff Explorers held their annual Toy Ride.
Instead of a registration fee, the Explorers asked for an unwrapped toy that will go to local children.
The lighted Christmas parade was held at 6 p.m.
The first-place float was the Woman’s Club of Jasper. The second-place float was Hamilton County Elected Officials and Board of County Commissioners. The third-place float was First Presbyterian Church of Jasper.
Following the parade children visited with Santa in the Jasper City Park.
