Hendrixson wins Superior Service Award

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Wayne Hendrixson, school nutrition manager for Cox Elementary, was recently awarded the Colquitt County School System’s Superior Service Award.
According the district, it is ‘[a]warded to someone who is not necessarily on the PBIS team or directly involved with PBIS implementation at the school level, but who continuously goes above and beyond to serve the students and faculty and whose contributions add to the overall success of PBIS’ (PBIS District Team, 2016).
PBIS is Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. Many schools in the district have adopted the PBIS program for classroom management and improving school climate.
