MOULTRIE, Ga. — Women at a Tillman Road residence were threatened Wednesday by a man displaying a pistol who drove away with two minibikes after demanding to know where his “stuff” was.

Whitney Cowart, of the 800 block of Tillman Road, told police that the male acquaintance showed up at about 6:30 p.m. and refused to leave when she told him that she did not know what kind of property of his would be there.

While there the man argued with Cowart and Mallori Melton and was “grabbing at a black pistol” in a holster on his hip. The two women told police that the man did not pull the gun out of the holster, but grabbed it multiple times “in a threatening manner.”

Before leaving he looked at property in the yard before taking a black minibike and the frame of a second bike out of a shed and loading them into a silver Ford Escape.

Cowart and Melton followed him when he left and saw the two bikes fall out of the SUV near Ellenton City Hall. When they stopped to pick them up out of the roadway, they reported, the man turned around and drove to their location. He drove away after saying, “You know what comes next, you’re dead.”
