CBC names Tim Powers Moultrie market president

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Tim Powers was named Moultrie market president in an announcement by Commercial Banking Company President and Chief Executive Officer G. Daryn Russell.
“We look forward to having Tim on the CBCBank team in Moultrie,” said Russell. “His market experience and community leadership compliments our desire to be a lending institution that the Moultrie residents can be proud of.”

Powers formerly worked as a senior vice president of Ameris Bank and vice president at Bank of America and SunTrust Bank. He has over 18 years of progressive financial experience.
A graduate of Auburn University, Powers is a Monroe, Ga. native. He also completed the educational requirements for designation as a certified financial planner with Texas A&M – Commerce.
Powers is a member of the Moultrie YMCA Board of Directors, serving as treasurer and is past president of the Rotary Club of Moultrie. He is also a member of the Hope House of Moultrie Board of Directors, alumni of the High Potential Leaders Program with the UGA Archway Partnership, and Leadership Colquitt County Alumni.

Randy Kelly, senior vice president, will continue to serve as SVP and lender at the Moultrie Branch. Kelly has been with CBCBank since 2009.
Commercial Banking Company was chartered in 1929 as a state bank in Hahira, Ga. The bank quickly earned a reputation as a solid financial institution in the Hahira community and surrounding areas.
