Man claims to be from Ga. Lottery, robs store
MOULTRIE, Ga. — A man who claimed to be with the Georgia Lottery was more interested in a convenience store’s cash and video system than lottery tickets Sunday, The man entered Super Cee, 2011 West Blvd. in Moultrie, at about 2:30 p.m., police said. He did not brandish a weapon during the encounter with the employee. “(He) entered the store, basically told the store clerk he was an employee with the Lottery and he needed to do some inspections, look at some things,” Moultrie Police Department Inv. William Baillargeon said. “During the course of him being there he asked for the money in the register to be placed on the counter. He (the clerk) did that.” The thief then looked around at some things before finishing his “inspection.” “He winds up taking a bag on the back side of the counter and kind of sweeps the money into the bag,” Baillargeon said. “On his way out he disconnected the camera system and took the camera system with him.”

DALTON, Ga. — Cincinnati and Dalton are both on Interstate 75, and soon they could have even more in common.
