Hurricane Warning for Suwannee, Hamilton

LIVE OAK, Fla. — A Hurricane Warning has been issued for Suwannee and Hamilton counties in north Florida.
A Hurricane Warning is issued when sustained winds of 74 miles per hour or higher are expected within the area.
Hurricane Hermine currently has maximum sustained winds of 75 miles per hour and is intensifying, according to the National Weather Service.
Isolated tornadoes are likely, especially near and south of the storm’s track.
A tornado watch is in effect through 11 p.m. for all of northeast and north central Florida.
Suwannee and Hamilton counties are under a flash flood watch through early evening Friday, with a moderate to high flash flooding risk for Suwannee Valley, according to the National Weather Service.
