$40,000 tractor taken from auction yard

MOULTRIE, Ga. — A $40,000 tractor was among property reported stolen from businesses and residences that also included car stereo equipment and home electronics.

On Wednesday Weeks Auction, 2186 Sylvester Hwy., reported that a Kubota tractor had been stolen. The Kubota M7060 cab air tractor with loader disappeared from the business some time after 6:30 a.m. May 13, Justin Weeks told police.

• Kathy Pate, 300 block Patch Road, reported May 16 the theft of a .357-caliber revolver, costume jewelry and firearm ammunition, all of unknown value.

• Tylicia Bowman, 1300 block U.S. Highway 319 North, reported Thursday the theft of a seven-inch Android tablet computer valued at $120.

• Stephen Goodfellow, 100 block 19th Hole Lane, reported Thursday the theft of a Crossman air rifle valued at $120.

• Krystal Parrish, 500 block Indian Lake Drive, reported Thursday the theft of an LG flat screen plasma television and bottles of prescription medication with a total value of $2,250.

• Mark Weeks, 1400 block Lonnie Brookard Road, Norman Park, reported Wednesday the theft of a Sanyo 24-inch flat screen television valued at $300 and a Ford Raptor remote truck of unknown value.

• Daniel Garcia, 400 block Dunn Road, reported Saturday the theft of a television and two cell phones with a total value of $640.

• Bonnie Taylor, Clay Street, reported Wednesday the theft of a fish tank of unknown value from a residence in the 100 block of Halls Trail.

• Barbara Lang, 2600 block Highway 33 South, reported May 17 the theft of four folding tables and a gas trimmer with a total value of $379.

• Custom Automotive, 380 Hwy. 319 N., reported Thursday that five cars were entered, with property taken at $601 taken.

The stolen items included Panasonic compact disc player, Clarion compact disc player, 10 Pyle subwoofers with amplifier, factory radio from a Chevrolet Silverado and radio from a Cadillac El Dorado.

• David Eugene Brumley, 47, 869 U.S. Hwy. 319 N., was charged Thursday with child molestation and sexual battery.

Brumley turned himself in after police received allegations of child molestation, Colquitt County Sheriff’s Inv. Michael Cox said.

• Mark Doyle White, 56, 607 White Cemetery Road, was charged Friday with driving under the influence (test refusal), open container in vehicle and failure to drive within single lane.

• Katina Edmonds, 1900 block Sylvester Highway, and Richard Kinsey, 100 block East Bethel Avenue, reported Sunday that a driver who left the scene of an accident struck her 2000 Dodge Durango and his 2008 Nissan Altima.

The accident occurred near Sylvester Drive and 31st Avenue Northwest.

• Robert Castleberry reported Sunday that someone broke the back glass of a 1998 Ford F-150 parked at Reed Bingham State Park, 542 Reed Bingham Road.

• Glorius Doss reported Friday that she saw two young males running away from a 400 Kendalwood Drive residence.

A kitchen window screen was found on the ground and the window was open, police said. A deputy checked to make sure no one was inside and Doss did not find that anything had been taken.

• Renee Bozeman, 4600 block Highway 37 West, reported Wednesday that a driver struck her mail box, which was valued at $50.

Police found part of a bumper from a car in the area.

Bozeman also told police that a neighbor’s mail box had been damaged.

• Taylor Walker, 1400 block Lonnie Brookard Road, Norman Park, reported Wednesday the back window was broken on her mobile home. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

• Michelle Zang reported Wednesday that her 2014 Mercedes GLK350 was damaged when she was forced off the roadway by a driver who traveled into her lane.

Zang told police the incident occurred in the 2600 block of Tallokas Road.
