MOULTRIE, Ga. — On Friday, May 13, officers from the Moultrie Police Department will host the annual Fallen Heroes Ceremony.

All community members are invited to attend. The event will begin at 10 a.m. in Downtown Moultrie.

“The Fallen Heroes Ceremony is a time we get to honor those who have served and are no longer with us,” according to a press release from the Moultrie Police Department. “It’s a time the family members and community are able to come out and honor their legacy and commitment they gave to law enforcement.”

This year’s ceremony will feature the CCHS Chorale.

Sandra Ghelarducci, the daughter of the late Lt. Tom Meredith of the Moultrie Police Department, will be the keynote speaker.
