Water company pours out scholarships

- ESG Operations, the private company that manages the City of Moultrie’s water and wastewater systems, presented four $500 scholarships to Colquitt County High School students Saturday, April 23. From left are Lisa Clarke Hill, Moultrie councilwoman and CCHS social worker; Selyna Gant, who plans to major in agricultural engineering and German at the University of Georgia; Nathan Lang, who plans to major in English at Clark Atlanta University then go on to law school; Mayor Bill McIntosh; Catalina Arnett, who plans to major in natural science and visual arts at UGA; Quen’Tavious Alford, who plans to major in engineering with a minor in astronomy at Valdosta State University; and Tony Johnson, ESG operations manager and outreach director.
