Farm Bureau honors tech fair winners

- Chloe Gould, an eighth grader at Charlie A. Gray Junior High School, won the GATE award in Division II. She created and printed a cookbook featuring Georgia agriculture products. She received a monetary award, a certificate and a personalized flash drive. MOULTRIE — The Colquitt County Farm Bureau recently recognized winners of the Growing Agriculture Technology Effectively awards at the Regional Technology Fair.
Carolyne Turner, a fourth grader at Hamilton Elementary School, won the award in Division I and went on to win her division at the state tech fair. She developed a mobile app, ‘Show Ring Kids — For Kids, By Kids,’ which will be available soon through the App Store. Farm Bureau presented her with a certificate, a monetary award and a personalized flash drive.
