A Colquitt County woman was beaten during a weekend domestic dispute that led to the arrest of her accused attacker. Edgar Perez, of the 700 block of Sardis Church Road, reported that attack of his sister at 11:25 p.m. Friday at their residence. He told police that when the man arrived he initially got into an argument with Maria Perez.

Edgar Perez translated for Maria Perez, who told police that a male acquaintance hit her multiple times in the face.
