Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Greene of La Grange, Ga., are pleased to announce the  engagement and soon-to-be wedding of their daughter, Elizabeth Ashley, to  Benjamin Seth Goodroe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joey M. Goodroe of Johns Creek, Ga.

Ashley attended the University of Georgia and obtained a master’s degree from  the Medical College of Georgia in occupational therapy. She is  currently employed at Pediatric-Occupational Therapy in Jefferson, Ga., serving children affiliated with disabilities.

Seth graduated from UGA with a Bachelor of Science degree in cellular biology and a minor in public health. He currently in his third year at the medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, Athens campus.  He plans to serve rural  Georgia as a family medical physician.

After meeting almost three years ago at a Braves game, they will be  married April 2, 2016, at The Wright Farm in Roopville, Ga.

Seth is the grandson of J.C. and Sara Goodroe and great-grandson of Evelyn Goodroe and the late Joseph Turner, all of Moultrie.
