Carmichaels to celebrate 70th anniversary

- Johnny and Frances Carmichael of Moultrie will celebrate their 70th anniversary on March 23. Johnny Carmichael, a Tifton native, opened Carmichael Parts Service on Moultrie’s North Main Street in the late 1940s. It was removed to make way for the new Post Office when he retired. The Carmichaels have three children, Johnny Carmichael Jr., Jan Rodgers and Steve Carmichael.
