MOULTRIE – Mr. and Mrs. David Edgar Stone of Moultrie are proud to announce the engagement of his daughter, Anne Kathryn, to Matthew Aaron Cannon. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Aubrey Cannon of Moultrie. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Lynne Carter Stone and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Olin S. Stone of Edison, Ga. and the late Mr. and Mrs. E. Julian Carter of Arlington, Ga.  A 2006 graduate of Colquitt County High School, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Speech Communication, in 2010, from Valdosta State University. She was a member of Lambda Pi Eta: Valdosta State Chapter, Sigma Alpha Pi: Valdosta State Chapter, and is currently a member of the Public Relations Society of America, SHA Missions, and Moultrie Junior Woman’s Club. She is the Marketing Director of the Moultrie YMCA.  The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Clarice C. Cannon and the late Aubrey S. Cannon, of Blakely, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul R. Hughes of Moultrie, Ga.  A 2008 graduate of Colquitt County High School, he is an American Council on Exercise fitness professional and the Personal Trainer at the Moultrie YMCA.  The wedding will be held May 14, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Moultrie.
