MOULTRIE, GA. – Edna Earl Jobson Brown, 86, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, at her home.

Graveside rites will be 2 p.m. (EST) Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, in Hillcrest Cemetery, Munford, Ala.

Born July 14, 1929 in DeArmanville, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Fred Jobson and Shady Sparks Jobson.  She was a presser with Palm Beach Company and was of the Baptist faith.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Brown.

Survivors include seven children, Linda Sue Martin, Donald Lee Lackey, Mary Lucille Ponder all of Tyler, TX., Ann Bailey of Moultrie, Paul Daniel Lackey of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Arthur Wayne Lackey of Tyler, TX., and Christopher Lynn Lackey of Oxford, Ala.; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Williams of Tyler, TX.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
