MOULTRIE — Mary Frances Bell Dean, 82, of Moultrie, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Liberty Faith Holiness Church with the Revs. Harvey Morgan and Greg Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Church Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Mark Morgan, Terry Morgan, Dalon Croft, Timmy Tanner, Isaiah Dean and Dalon Walker.
Daughter of the late Rev. J.A. Bell and Estell Benefield Bell, Mrs. Dean was born May 25, 1933, in Moultrie.
She was a charter member of Liberty Faith Holiness Church and was retired from Playland Toy Store and Belk’s Department Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dallas Dean; brothers J.L. Bell and Amos Bell; sister, Betty Lou Dean; and brothers-in-law Bob Cagley, Elton “Buck” Kennedy and Austin Dean.
Mrs. Dean is survived by her son, Jerry Dean of Moultrie; a daughter, Sherry Strickland and husband Rick of Moultrie; and sisters Rosetta Cagley, Juanita Arnold and husband Jimmy, Evelyn Kennedy and Annette Bell; and many nieces and nephews.
She loved her church, where he was secretary/treasurer for more than 30 years.
Her family said she loved her family and was a great friend to many. She spent many days traveling around the country with her family and especially loved Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Most of all she loved life and loved serving her great Lord.
The family will receive friends from 6pm- 8pm Tuesday, Feb 9, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel.
