Lois Memarie Dibenedetto

MOULTRIE — Lois Memarie Dibenedetto, 19, of Moultrie, died Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Brother Chris Walden officiating.  Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens.

Casketbearers will be Adam Hawkins, Noah Hawkins, Jimmy Conger, Darryl Franklin, Billy Folsom and Conner Dibenedetto.

Luke Walden and Eddie Paul Walden will serve as honorary casketbearers.

Born June 12, 1996, in Nashville, Tenn., she was the daughter of Gary Edward Dibenedetto and Tracy Cochran Dibenedetto of Moultrie.  She was a member of Christian Crusade Church and a hair stylist trainee at Amazing Hair.  

Memarie loved playing the guitar, collecting old record albums, was a huge fan of 1970s classic rock and was a background singer at Studio D.    

Her family remembers how she loved being with family and friends, she was a huge cutup and had very strong faith in God.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Franklin Cochran; paternal grandmother, Lois Hawkins Dibenedetto; uncle, Billy Cochran and cousin, Daley Cochran.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her half-sister, Michelle Wood of Durham, N.C.; paternal grandparents, Pastor Eddie Dibenedetto and Peggy of Moultrie; maternal grandmother, Joyce Cochran of Gordon, Ga.; aunt, Fran Franklin and uncle Larry of Moultrie; cousins, Jessica Walden and Chris, Luke Walden and Eddie Paul Walden; uncle, David Hawkins and aunt, Rachel, Noah Hawkins, Adam Hawkins and  Kayla Hawkins all of Moultrie; aunt, Tammy Powell and uncle Ron, Sally Powell and Daisy Powell all of Thomasville; aunt Lisa Cochran of Gordon, Ga.; aunt, Reenie Britt and Stephan; cousin, Conner Dibenedetto all of Nashville, Tenn.; aunt, Loretta Story of Sandersville, Ga.; great-aunt, Sue Walsh and Grady of Bryon, Ga. and cousin, Dylan Walsh and other family members.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February, 8, 2016, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
