Impressed?

“So you were impressed because you saw a young man in a crowded store wearing his gun where everyone could see it. I guess it doesn’t take much to impress you.

I like the idea

“Maybe if more people wore guns in plain sight there would be less crime around here. I like the idea.

Shake his hand?

“You want to shake the hand of the  man with the gun. Can you even spell I.Q.?

Gun toting

“You know the guy wearing the gun in plain view. I bet when he was little he wanted to be a cowboy. Wonder how many times he’s seen the movie ‘Road House?’

Shotgun or rifle

“To the ranter who said if you have to wait until an intruder is in range of a shotgun, then it’s probably too late. Let me offer that if you need something with greater range, the ‘intruder’ as you call him is probably on someone else’s property.

Persecuted

“I’m glad someone finally spoke up for us smokers. We have been unfairly persecuted long enough.

The candidates

“The worst of the GOP stable of candidates would be better for this country than Hillary Clinton.

Pay heed

“I hope city management paid heed to that thing about picking up trash and butchering someone’s yard.

Hwy. 133

“Don’t worry about Hwy. 133 four-laning north of town right now. Contractors are busy getting that stretch between here and Valdosta which is the most crucial because it will connect three multi-lane thoroughfares — U.S. 84, U.S. 319 and I-75. Of course we want to see it all the way to Albany but it appears tremendous progress is being made based on the story recently in The Moultrie Observer.

Celebration

“Okay, the Packer celebration was on a Wednesday night. Maybe a better choice of nights could have been made. My guess is though, you would not have been condemned if you had missed one mid-week service.

Humbling

“Yea Falcons! That’s the way to humble Cam Newton. Maybe one day he will learn that a quarterback is expected to play with class, not put on displays like is did right after his first touchdown. No one doubts is athletic prowess, but such cockiness wears thin after a while.

Responsibilities

“To someone who recently mentioned the Bill of Rights. Although not written but perhaps understood by clear thinkers is that there should be a ‘protocol of responsibility’ in equal measures as those time-honored rights. Give it some thought.
