MOULTRIE — Hope House offered their annual Stand For Life scholarship to Colquitt County High School seniors with a value of $2,000.

Ten CCHS seniors applied, both male and female; three applicants were selected for interviews by the scholarship committee, which included Jill Trebony, Corey Shiver and Executive Director Katrina Bivins.

Those interviewed were Lauren Coop, Alexis Jarvis, and Olivia Hardy, and Hardy was selected as the recipient.

Hardy is the daughter of Duane and Rebecca Hardy. She and her family attend Mount Olive Baptist Church where she is active in youth ministry, serves on the youth committee, leads worship on Wednesday nights and Sundays (mostly for youth services), and she also serves in children ministry.

As the recipient of the scholarship Hardy will help her peers learn more about the services Hope House Pregnancy Center offers and lead a book study on “Stand for Life: A Student’s Guide For Making The Case and Saving Lives,” written by John Ensor and Scott Klusendorf in 2016.
