• Tryan Trinidad Montgomery, 17, Sylvester Drive Lot 110, was charged Nov. 30 with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.

• Jessie Dalton Johnson, 24, 218 W. Bethel, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence.

• Alisha Rebecca Croy, 172 S. Manning St., Funston, was charged Friday with theft by taking.

• James Cole Lindsey, 25, 1933 Second St. S.E., was charged Thursday with driving under the influence, reckless driving and failure to drive within single lane.

• Terry Donell Sloans, 52, 714 Ralley Ave., Thomasville, was charged Thursday with parole violation.

• Melissa Ann Holt, 41, 362 Yogi Bear Road, was charged Oct. 30 with simple battery.

Moultrie Police

• Gary Kyle Turner, 21, 175 Apache Drive, was charged Dec. 1 with possession of spice (synthetic marijuana) and possession of marijuana.

• Ricky Lee Wilson, 55, 120 Second St. S.E., was charged Friday with driving under the influence, open container in vehicle, failure to yield entering roadway and resisting arrest.

• Francisco Tisnavo Cedona, 35, was charged Friday with use (of) tag to conceal identity and driving without license.

• Kiyan Reigh Hill, 17, 11 McDonald Court S.E. Apt. A, and a 15-year-old boy were each charged Friday with theft by shoplifting.

An employee at Wal-Mart, 641 Veterans Parkway S., told police that the two came in with some girls and after they split up the two teen-age allegedly males concealed a set of speakers. When officers searched Hill they found other merchandise with a total value of $110, the police report said. 

The younger teen was released to his mother.

• Andy Vaughn, 31, 1708 First Ave. S.E. Room 218, was charged Nov. 29 with theft by deception.

• Markis Jamaal Jones, 23, 213 Gardenia Drive, was charged Thursday with simple battery.

Berlin Police

• Kerry Bernard Sharpe, 26, 208 Eighth St. S.W., was charged Thursday with driving without license and child restraint violation.

Thefts

Sheriff’s Office

• Veronica Santos, 100 block Quail Ridge, reported Saturday the theft of a 2011 John Deer Gator with camouflage paint job valued at $15,000.

• Belinda Decesare, Americus, reported Saturday the theft of her father Cecil Keys’ .38 Special from his residence in the 100 block of Trailer Park Road.

Decesare did not know the value of the weapon, police said.

• Kayla Williams, 100 block Kindling Court, reported Saturday the theft of one each Panasonic and Samsung flat screen televisions and a wrist watch.

She estimated the stolen property was worth $789.

Moultrie Police

• Applebee’s, 21 Veterans Parkway N., reported Sunday that a woman left without paying for a meal she ate that was valued at $25.

• Deirdra Jo Taylor, 51, Norman Park, reported Sunday the theft of a wallet she misplaced while shopping in the 600 block of Veterans Parkway South.

The wallet and contents were valued at $181.

• Dollar General, 24111 S. Main St., reported Friday that a male and four females entered the store and took two pair of bedroom booties valued at $13 each. 

An employee reported that they dropped one pair while leaving so only one pair was taken.

Burglary

Moultrie Police

• Curtis Trim, 62, Moultrie, reported Sunday the theft of $100 while he was in the 600 block of South Main Street.

Battery

Sheriff’s Office

• Preston McMurphy, 1400 block Seventh Street Southeast, reported Friday that he was attacked by three male acquaintances at about 10:15 P.M. on Overlook Drive.

McMurphy told police that he was walking to the store with the three threw him to the ground and began hitting and kicking him.

McMurphy had no visible facial injuries but did have scrapes on both elbows, police said. He told officers that he had a bump on his head as a result of the attack.

• Krissie Lynn, 100 block Mark Lane, reported Saturday that a female relative kicked in her door and began hitting her. She also said that another female relative pointed a gun at her boyfriend, Jacob Russell.

Kristen Peacock told police that she did fight with Lynn but that the door was already damaged when she went over. Her mother, Laura Peacock, went to the residence to stop fight, the police report stated.

Laura Peacock told police she took a gun with her because Russell earlier had made a motion as if he had a gun in his pants and told them that he “had something for them.” She said she never took the weapon out of its holster.

Lynn and Russell left the residence for the night to “let things cool down,” police said.

Moultrie Police

• Brittany Sue Medley, 21, Moultrie, reported Sunday that a female acquaintance hit her on the side of her face while she was holding her 4-month-old baby.

Medley told police that the incident happened when the woman came into a bedroom at a friend’s residence in the 00 block of 15th Street Southeast.

• Courtney Nelson, 34, Moultrie, reported Friday that she was attacked by a woman from her work place while she was in a parked car in the 800 block of Highway 133 South.

Nelson told police that she was waiting for another co-worker whom she had given a ride to the store when the attack occurred. A male held her while the woman hit her. When the business owner came outside and told them to stop they left.

Nelson had a small mark on her right cheek bone but no other apparent injuries police said.

Property damage

Moultrie Police

• Lakiesha Nunn, 500 block 27th Street Southeast, reported Sunday that someone forced entry into her apartment.

Nothing was taken, she told police.  

The door frame was broken off and on the floor and there were tool marks around the dead bolt lock, police said.

• Billy Cooper, 68, Tifton, reported Friday that windows were broken at a residence in the 1000 block of 10th Street Southeast.

Cooper told police that he would return later to check whether anything had been stolen.

• Dale Worsham, 400 block Mimosa Avenue, reported Friday that his fence was damaged overnight.
