Coming from Warner Robins, the Wayne Rehberg family brought peaches, divinity candy, peanut brittle and a beautiful needle work picture by Diana Rehberg, which was auctioned to help defray reunion expenses. The art work was purchased by Jim Rehberg.

About 60 family members attended the event held at the Ochlocknee Community Center. The Joe Riley Rehberg family had the most attending and kept the trophy that they have claimed for several years. Boiled to perfection by Alice Rehberg, peanuts were again a hit with the family.

After a delicious lunch, an auction was held and prizes were given for longest married, 58 years, Dewitt and Anita Rehberg; first time at reunion, Trinity Flanders; most age enhanced member, Naomi Rehberg; and traveled longest distance to get to the reunion, Catherine Chastain and son Nathan.

Other prizes went to Priscilla Cope, retired with most years of service; Stephanie Rehberg, who read the most books; and Merrilou O’Brien who read her Bible each day.

A carrot cake by Naomi Rehberg, a big beautiful pound cake by Sherrill Hummer and a 12-layer chocolate cake by Alice Morris were auctioned by Benjie Hall to help with reunion expenses.

After a short business meeting, plans were made for a 47th reunion to meet the second Saturday in August 2016. Committee members include Alice Wilson and June Seay.
