MOULTRIE — Charles Hollis Kilgore, 69, of Moultrie, died Friday, July 31, 2015, at his home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at Lifespring Community Church with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Kimberly Kilgore.
Born Jan. 27, 1946, in Moultrie, he was the son of Charlotte Mayne Kilgore and the late George Hollis Kilgore. He was a 1964 graduate of Moultrie High School and served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Southland Surveying and Southland Realty Co.
Survivors, in addition to his mother of Moultrie, include his wife, Juanita Duncan Kilgore of Moultrie; one son, Preston Kilgore of Dallas, Ga.; two daughters, Chamagne DeSalvo and Dominic of Moultrie and Holli Redding and Jim Ed of Pavo; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Hamilton and Josh, Marlea Kilgore, Monique DeSalvo, B.J. Redding, Austin Redding, Jaimsey Redding and Remington Redding; one great-grandchild, Kaedyn DeSalvo; two brothers, Larry Kilgore and Sue of Columbiana, Ala., and Freddie Kilgore and Carolyn of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
