Livingston promoted at Senior Life Insurance Co.

THOMASVILLE — Margaret E. Livingston of Moultrie is one of 11 employees promoted at Senior Life Insurance Company, according to a recent announcement from the company.

Livingston has been named vice president of quality assurance and operations.

She began her career in the insurance industry in 1996 as a field agent with Powell Insurance Group. Prior to her career in insurance, Livingston worked in quality control for Riverside Manufacturing Company in Moultrie for 27 years.

In 2000 Powell Insurance Group acquired Provident Security Life Insurance Company and relocated operations from Atlanta to Thomasville, renaming the company Senior Life Insurance Company. Livingston then joined the newly formed Senior Life home office as manager of policy services and underwriting.

In 2005 she returned to the agent side of the business, working with Senior Life’s Conner Insurance Group both as an agent and as office manager and chief underwriter. Livingston remained in this role until her retirement in 2011.

Livingston returned to the home office in 2013, performing duties in human resources and quality assurance before being named quality assurance and workflow facilitator in 2014.

In her expanded role, she will continue to use her skills to further organize the company’s operational departments, optimizing growth potential and ensuring the highest standards of quality,” said Ron Powell, president of Senior Life Insurance Company.
