Moose Moss Invitational to run Friday and Saturday

These Moss Farms Diving Tigers competed recently in the YMCA National Championships in Orlando. They, and other members of the Moss Farms program, will compete today and Saturday in the Moose Moss Invitational at the Moose Moss Aquatic Center. MOULTRIE — The annual Moose Moss Invitational will play host to 35 divers today and Saturday at the Moose Moss Aquatic Center.

In addition to the Diving Tigers, athletes from Tallahassee’s  Tomahawk Diving Club and the Dupage Diving Academy will compete.

Competition will be in 1-meter, 3-meter and platform events.

Representing Moss Farms will be Jordan Avery, Bo Bridges, Jewelia Chambers, Grace Costin Lillian Fagan, Timothy Fagan, Isabella Grayson, Kent Grayson, Parker Hardigree, Kelliann Howell, Jake Jimmerson, Kate Jimmerson, Joshua Lamb, Nolan Lewis, Walker Lewis, Ruth Anne McCranie, Ann Taylor, Carolyne Turner, Carson Tyler, Abigale White, Naya Williams, Emily Ann Wolfson, Annabelle Brooks and Chloe Adams.

The Diving Tigers will be led by head coach Josh Karshen and assistant coach Camille Akridge.

Gianna Anderson will represent the Dupage Diving Academy from Naperville, Ill.

Competing for the Tomahawk Diving Club will be Colette Bell, Brenna Burns, Joelle Carbonell-Bierbaum, Taj Cole, Chase Lane, Kendall Minter, Maxwell Shaver and Rainey Vause.

Moss Farms divers have been busy of late, with a contingent representing the club at the YMCA Nationals in Orlando earlier this month and four competing in the Red White and Blue Championships last Monday in Coral Springs, Fla.

The Moose Moss Aquatic Center also will play host to USA Diving’s Zone D Championships on June 15-21.
