MOULTRIE — Two abandoned cars with bloody interiors were found over the weekend, with the owner of one of the vehicles found walking down the roadway covered with blood a couple of hours after the accident was reported.
At about 5:35 a.m. Saturday, a deputy was dispatched to South Veterans Parkway and Holmes Drive where a car registered to Michael Glasgow was found wrecked. There was blood on both the driver- and passenger-side airbags.

Officers searched the area but did not find anyone, and police also went to Glasgow’s 1008 Holmes Drive residence
At about 7:48 a.m. Saturday police received a report of a man covered in blood walking down the middle of the roadway in the 1000 block of Holmes Drive.
A deputy found Glasgow, 41, and he was bleeding heavily from his lip, sheriff’s reports said. Glasgow, who smelled heavily of alcohol, told the officer that he was thrown from the passenger side of a friend’s car, but was not sure where the accident occurred, the sheriff’s report stated.
Glasgow was uncooperative with medical personnel, the reports said, but eventually he was loaded into an ambulance and taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A spokeswoman there said that he was treated and discharged.
At 12:42 a.m. Saturday, an officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Erve Williams Road where they found a 2006 Nissan Maxima. The person who called in the report told police that it was siting in the middle of the roadway with the lights on and a broken windshield.

Officers found no one in the car, but there was blood “all over the vehicle,” reports said. Police contacted the sister of Gloria Robertson, the reported driver, but she could not make contact with her.
