HARTSFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. Gary Jacobs of Hartsfield are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Leigh Jacobs of Hartsfield, to Joseph Tyler Mobley of Moultrie.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jack F. Gay of Hartsfield and the late Ruby L. Gay and of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jacobs of Jesup. She was a 2006 graduate of Colquitt County High School and received an associate’s degree in biology from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in 2008 and was a member of the tennis team there from 2006 to 2008. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2010 from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro and is scheduled to graduate in June from South University in Savannah with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Mobley of Moultrie and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Saunders of Doerun and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mobley. He was a 2007 graduate of Colquitt County High School and graduated in 2011 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, where he served as Rush chairman. He participated in the Global LEAD Program. He is the owner/operator of Maddio’s Pizza Joints in central and south Georgia.

The wedding is scheduled for May 2, 2015, at Trinity Baptist Church.
