The Bible says Jesus Christ will return to earth one day. However, the owners of a restaurant in Lawton, Oklahoma, didn’t think their establishment would be his first stop.

According to KSWO, Kristi Rhines ordered several alcoholic drinks and food at El Chico in Lawton. But when it was time to pay her bill, she claimed to have no money on her.

However, according to KSWO, Rhines told the El Chico managers her husband, Jesus Christ, was on his way to pick up the tab. Yes, that Jesus Christ.

Rhines claimed to be legally married to Jesus Christ, but had no marriage license. She also told management that Jesus would be able to walk in and produce U.S. currency to pay for her bill.

Unfortunately, Jesus didn’t show up, but the Lawton Police Department did. When it was confirmed she had no way to pay her bill, Rhines was booked into the Lawton City Jail on a complaint of fraud.
