Thieves hit the residence of Tomas Gorje on Wednesday during a daytime burglary in which they took property valued at $1,725.

A witness told Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office deputies that she saw the burglary take place. She described a black Chevrolet Tahoe and two men and a woman.

“We received some witness information that led us to develop those three as suspects,” Sheriff’s Inv. Jim Brown said. “The vast majority of the property has been recovered.”

Arrested and charged with burglary were: Priscilla Esquivel, 22, 310-B Seventh Ave. N.W.; Johnny Lamar McCormick, 24; and Kendrick Demond Terry, 25.

McCormick also was charged with possession of drug-related objects, possession of marijuana and seat belt violation stemming from a traffic stop made before his arrest.
