A Colquitt County man’s girlfriend got her point across on Wednesday that she wanted his friend to leave their residence, using a machete as a persuader.
When officers were summoned to their 349 Wilburn Murphy Road residence, Adrian Alford told them that the woman had pointed a machete at him.
Alford told police that she was angry because the friend was at their residence and threatened to hurt him or the friend if he did not ask him to leave.
Stephanie Jarvis Williams, 33, told police that she was reacting to a fear that the other man was going to harm Alford.
One arrest was made, but the charges were not available on Thursday.
