- The Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. accepted a donation from the Georgia Power Company on July 18 to go toward the college's 2014-2015 TechMatch program. TechMatch is the Technical College System of Georgia's matching grant program that was created to assist the state's technical colleges with maintaining state-of-the-art instructional equipment and technology needed to meet today's skill standards. The program provides state funding to match cash and in-kind equipment contributions. Traditionally, TechMatch enables gifts to be matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis, doubling the donors' gifts to Moultrie Tech. Pictured, from left, at the college's Veterans Parkway Campus in Moultrie, are MTC Acting President Jim Glass, Georgia Power Local Manager Don Hutchinson, and MTC Foundation Director Darbie Avera.
