Demetrius Bernard Sinclair, 28, pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of robbery by force, Colquitt County Superior Court records said. In addition to the prison time, he was sentenced to serve seven years on probation and pay fines and fees totaling $2,100. Sinclair also will be ordered to pay restitution in the case. The amount of the restitution has not been determined.

Sinclair was accused of being the driver in a Jan. 16 robbery at 1350 Veterans Parkway N.

Jeremy Daryl Palmore, 26, was accused of walking into the store at about 12:15 a.m. and robbing the store clerk of $680 at gunpoint.

He pleaded guilty in February to a charge of armed robbery and was sentenced to a 10-year prison term. A charge of aggravated assault was dismissed as part of the plea arrangement.

Sinclair previously was convicted in 2010 of robbery and served 20 months in prison, according the Georgia Department of Corrections.
