Moultrie Technical College's 2014 GOAL Student of the Year Julie McDonald was awarded as the first runner-up for the state's Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership at the April 24 Technical College System of Georgia Leadership Summit in Atlanta. This puts McDonald, a Neuromuscular Massage Therapist program student, among the top two students out of 151,000 in the state's entire technical college system.
