Chris Moore of Omega, Moultrie Technical College’s school-wide EAGLE representative for this year, was chosen as one of eight finalists out of 28 Adult Education delegates in the state at the March 25-27 Technical College System of Georgia EAGLE Leadership Institute in Atlanta. The Institute recognizes and honors those students who have demonstrated superior achievement in adult education classes and programs including GED test preparation. TCSG, through its Office of Adult Education, sponsors the annual Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education (EAGLE) awards program. Of the eight state finalists, Unique Bunch of Atlanta Technical College was ultimately chosen as the state EAGLE winner. Moore, after passing the GED test through MTC in November 2013, has since enrolled in Moultrie Tech’s credit program to continue his education in both the Accounting and Automotive Technology programs in hopes of opening his own auto shop upon graduation.
