The Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community to donate items for a yard sale and auction for the Georgia Sheriff’s Boys Ranch in Hahira.

The yard sale will be held May 3 at the ranch, located on Georgia Highway 122 east of Hahira.

The sheriff’s office is accepting auction items. Most items typically found at yard sales will be accepted, with the exceptions of bedding and clothing.

The items will be picked up by the sheriff’s office and will be eligible for tax deductions, sheriff’s Capt. Julius Cox said. Donors also can drop items off at the sheriff’s office at 200 Veterans Parkway N.

The public is invited to attend the yard sale and auction. All proceeds raised from the sale will go toward the Boys Ranch.
