The forum will be held April 15, chamber President Darrell Moore said Friday.

Moore said Farm Bureau has sent invitations to all candidates in local, contested elections:

• County Commission District 3: Marc DeMott and Bobby Johnson.

Most Popular

• County Commission District 5: Paul Nagy, Roscoe F. Herndon and Joe Kem Lacey.

• County Commission District 7 (chairman): Mickey Key and Terry Clark.

• School board District 5: Pat Anderson, Billy Taylor and Jerry Holmes.

• Superior Court judge: Brian McDaniel, Vernita L. Bender and Jason Courtney Cain.

The chamber is seeking a list of questions to ask the candidates. If you have suggestions, please email them to The Moultrie Observer at moultrie.observer@gaflnews.com, mail them to The Observer at P.O. Box 2349, Moultrie, Ga. 31768, or bring them by our office at 25 N. Main St.

The idea, Moore said, is to get questions that can be asked to all candidtes in a particular race, rather than a question just for one, like “Why did you do such-and-such?”

The Observer needs to receive suggestions by April 9 so a good list can be ready by the night of the forum.
