Ah, spring! The time of year when Moultrians’ fancies turn to thoughts of … the 2014 Colquitt County Community Guide!
The Community Guide — a collection of important local information and telephone numbers — has become an annual event since The Moultrie Observer first published it in 2003. This year’s will be inserted into The Observer March 28. Single copies will also be available for sale at The Observer’s office, 25 N. Main St. in Moultrie.
The guide presents information about city and county governments, Colquitt County Schools, Moultrie Tech, ABAC on the Square, agriculture, health services and much more.
One of the sections in the guide deals with civic groups. We need members of such organizations to call us with updated information. A typical entry would read like this:
Lions Club
Contact: president, Duncan Sinclair, 985-8211, or secretary, Jan Sinclair, 985-8211
