Sam Watson, R-Moultrie, center, recently welcomed Moultrie firefighters, from left, Ryan Wyatt, Chief Ken Hannon, Michael Carroll, Bo Sprunger and Jeff Cooper to the State Capitol, where they received an award from Gov. Nathan Deal and were honored as the 2013 Georgia State Firefighters Association Lifesaving Valor recipients. Wyatt, Carroll, Sprunger and Cooper saved Trevor Haynes, who was asleep when the house he was in caught fire April 6, 2013.
