GHP nominees tour UGA

Students from Colquitt County High School that were nominated in the area of Agriculture for the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program recently took a tour of the University of Georgia campus. Kali Summerlin, Bill Johnson, Savanna Warren, and Elizabeth Beacham were all nominated by their Agriculture Teachers to interview for the opportunity to attend GHP, a four-week-long program where students who excel in a certain area, such as agriculture, go and focus in their chosen area. Students will complete projects, meet students from all over the state who are also interested in agriculture, and tour agricultural industries.
