A Moultrie woman and the woman she accused of throwing an object at her window on Wednesday night were both arrested the next day after they fought at a school bus stop.

Caitlin Henry, 25, 209 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, and Sherelle Denise Rushing, 25, 413-B Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, were each charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.

Moultrie police were dispatched at about 3:13 p.m. to the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Third Avenue Northwest where they found both women with minor injuries.

Rushing told police that while she was waiting for her children Henry attacked her over the previous day’s incident. She said she did not break Henry’s window.

Henry reported that Rushing approached her and began arguing, and that when Rushing raised her hand she felt she was going to hit her. At that time she started hitting Rushing, whom Henry reported pulled out some of her hair.

Earlier on Thursday Henry had reported that she and Rushing had an argument the previous night by text messages related to a man, and that Rushing said she was coming to Henry’s residence. She said the woman came to her residence and blew a car horn but left before she made it outside.

When she went back inside she heard a sound like glass breaking and when she investigated found that a back bedroom window was broken.

Police told Henry at that time not to have any contact with the Rushing and to call 911 if she had any problems.

Moultrie police

• Silverio Martinez, 31, 523 John Vickers Road, Norman Park, was charged Thursday with no license and suspended tag.

• Alicia Maria Ware, 26, 522 27th St. S.E. Apt. 4, was charged Thursday with simple battery.

When police responded to a domestic dispute at her residence, Dexter Herring initially told them that Ware had busted his lip and threw chili on him. He then said that he and Ware had only argued and that he dropped the chili on himself.

Ware told an officer that she did throw chili on Herring, police said.

• Courtney Stewart, 25, 915 Third St. S.E., was charged Monday with disorderly conduct.

• Samuel Martinez, 26, 135 Westbrook Drive, was charged Wednesday with no license and defective equipment.

• Christopher Jarrod Davis, 33, 411 Lucille St. Apt. E, was charged Wednesday with possession of marijuana and open container violation.

• Yuri Lovette Williams, 1218 W. Second Ave. Apt. A, Albany, was charged Wednesday with no insurance, suspended registration and open container violation.

• Kimberly Hope Ricks, 27, 1120 Howell Road, was charged Thursday with probation violation.

• Marvin Dewayne Fish, 24, 127 Shady Grove Road, was charged Thursday with probation violation.

Sheriff’s Office

• Antonio Londard Stewart, 31, 532 27th St. S.E. Apt. 3, was charged Thursday with failure to appear.

• Norma Perez, 37, 365 Sardis Church Road, was charged Thursday with driving without a license and speeding.

• Michael James Weaver, 28, 80 Wilbur Lane, Adel, was charged Thursday with probation violation.

• Carl Dean Rice, 24, 2390 Azalea Drive, Loganville, was charged Thursday with probation violation.

• Andrew Paul Johnson, 18, 609 Bear Creek Road, Norman Park, was charged Wednesday with criminal trespass and probation violation.

Thefts

• Mark Globerman, 50, Moultrie, reported Thursday that his wife’s wallet was stolen from the 100 block of 31st Avenue Southeast and that the woman who took it had made six charges totaling $876 on one of the couple’s credit cards.

• Ponder’s Seafood, 60 W. Central Ave., reported Thursday that a woman shoplifted $3 worth of merchandise while the owner was making chili dogs for her.

Another customer told Freddie Ponder about the woman taking the merchandise and a review of store video confirmed the theft, police said. The woman later returned after Ponder talked with one of her relatives and she was served with a trespassing notice ordering her not to return to Ponder’s property.

She had someone take money to Ponder to pay for the stolen property and Ponder agreed not to press charges.

Sheriff’s Office

• Wanda Bryant, 100 block Edmondson Road, reported Wednesday the theft of prescription medication that she suspects was stolen by a female relative.

Other investigations

Moultrie Police

• A man whom a convenience store reported Wednesday as soliciting money in the parking lot reported that an employee pointed a pistol at him and ordered him not to come back to the store.

Ramesh Patel, 40, of Moultrie, told police that the man was harassing customers and vendors at Best Little Store in Georgia, 619 West Blvd., but that he did not draw a gun or point it at Matthew Dennis, 42.

Patel also reported that Dennis hit a window, breaking a piece of glass off. Store video confirmed that account, police said.

Dennis was served with a trespassing notice ordering him not to return to the property and Patel declined to press charges for the damage.

Sheriff’s Office

• Rhonda Powell, 2600 block Livingston Bridge Road, reported Thursday that a man and woman withdrew hundreds of dollars using her debit card while she was ill.

Moultrie Police

• Rebecca Rhodes, 300 block First Street Northwest, reported Thursday that a 1999 Ford Expedition was scratched all over except for the back part of the car. Damage was estimated at $2,200.
