Moultrie Tech honors nursing graduates

- Moultrie Technical College held its semi-annual Nurse Pinning and Lamp Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 12 at the college’s Tifton Campus conference center. The ceremony honored seven graduates from MTC’s Practical Nursing programs in Moultrie and Tifton, which require five terms of in-class study and many hours of hands-on clinical experience in area hospitals and physicians’ offices. The graduates will sit for the Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses exam within the next month to become eligible to be employed as nurses.
