Speakers discuss evolution of agriculture

- On Thursday, Dec. 12, students in 8th grade Georgia Studies classes at CA Gray Junior High were able to hear from speakers on the evolution of agriculture. Amanda Smith, above, an economist from the University of Georgia-Tifton Campus, as well as Michael Chafin, farm manager at Sunbelt Expo, and Jason Pittman, district sales manager for Monsanto Corporation, spoke to students to assist them in their STEM Grand Challenge project on World Hunger.
