ABAC, ABAC on Square to close for holidays on Friday

In emails Thursday, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College announced holiday closings for each of its sites: ABAC in Tifton, ABAC on the Square in Moultrie and the Georgia Museum of Agriculture in Tifton.
Both ABAC and ABAC on the Square will close Friday, Dec. 20, and will resume their normal hours of operation on Jan. 2 from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Monday – Thursday and 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Fridays.
Spring semester classes begin on Jan. 8 at both campuses. Spring semester classes are listed on the ABAC web site at www.abac.edu.
The Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will be closed from Dec. 22, through Jan. 1. The Country Store will be open for holiday shoppers through Dec. 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hours of operation from Jan. 2-31 will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday for the Museum, Tift House, and Gallery. Admission is reduced to $4 per person. Children 4 and under are free.
On Saturdays in January, the Museum, Gallery, Historic Village, and Vulcan Steam Train will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $8 for seniors, $10 for adults, $5 for children 5 years of age and older, and free for children 4 years old and under.
The Museum will resume normal operating hours on Feb. 1.
